Register for Rush Form

To those of your who have used our online form to Register for Rush in the Rush section, please submit the form again. We have recently found out that the information submitted through the form was not being delivered correctly to those responsible for receiving it, but the form has now been fixed. If you are interested in rushing Phi Kappa Theta for the Spring 2007 semester, please use our Registration form to let us know. Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you!
New Semester & Spring 2006 Rush

Welcome back from the winter break, everyone! We are excited about the upcoming events that are planned for this semester and for our Spring 2006 Rush. We are currently in the process of updating our calendar and all of the information on our web site. Check back again soon for updates, thanks!
2005 Spring Formal

This past Saturday, Phi Kappa Theta celebrated its Spring 2005 Formal. The event was held at the Hilton where Actives, Alumni and Associate members joined in the celebration of presenting awards to actives and the most prestigious award and Associate Member can get. Also Associate Members presented their paddles to their big brothers and presented a scrap book to give to the fraternity and Fraternity letters that will go with the new house come Fall of 2005. Recipients of awards are as followed:
Most-Dedicated Active: Ruben Pena

The Leadership Award: Ruben Pena
The Playboy Award: B.j. Olonilua
Most-Fratastic: Ben McBride
The 180 Award: Paul Guttierez

Tin Man Award: Patrick Gonzalez
Most-Dedicated Associate Member: Jordan Bailey
Awards were given and this years graduating seniors were given a chance to say a few words and share their experiences with Phi Kappa Theta. Among the seniors were Chris Von Beberstein, Ben McBride, Anthony Conforti, and Jason Kovacs. Mario Castillo, another senior graduate could not be in attendence that night. After that, a small presentation was made by Andrew Lowry that recapped all of the memories that were made by Actives and Associate Members this semester.
Greek Week 2005

Greek Week 2005 is April 11th through the 15th. Events include Mocktails Cocktails, Movie Night, Guest Speaker Event, Penny Wars, and Community Service.
Spring 2004 Semi-Formal

This Monday, May 10th, 2004, our chapter celebrated the close of this great semester with our Spring 2004 Semi-Formal. The events began at Pappasito's where all Phi Kaps and their lovely dates gathered for lunch, followed by presentations of our newest Neophytes, a presentation for Big Brother paddles, the Awards ceremony for Actives & AM's, and finally the swearing in of our newly-elected Executive Council. Among the Awards presented were:

The celebrations continued in the evening at Lake Travis where the guys and their dates gathered on a Party Boat for food and drinks, some swimming, and quite a bit of dancing. Afterwards we all gathered back at the house for the afterparty and the Phi Kappa Theta Spring 2004 Slideshow, to reflect on all the past events of this semester and to recognize our graduating seniors: Phil Butler, Dan Nguyen, Jacob Oaxaca, Marcus Neal, Leandro Garcia, and Raj Amolenda. Thanks to all the Phi Kaps and guests for a fantastic evening, and to all the brothers for an excellent semester. Congratulations to those who are graduating and for the rest of us we look forward to an awesome Summer rush and coming Fall semester!
Winter Formal

The fraternity celebrated the fall semester with its annual Winter Formal at the Hyatt Regency on December 7th. The night started out at 7:30 pm with dinner in the beautiful Foothills Ballroom which overlooks beautiful Lake Austin. After dinner and conversation, the Beta Theta Class presented their class paddle to their head educator Br. Phil Butler. Br. Andrew “Turbo” Lowry then presented the Associate Members with their Associate Member paddles, each holding the three letters earned and nicknames of each Associate Member. Then Br. Alex Zepeda presented the newly inducted honorary member to the chapter. The night continued with an awards ceremony. Here are some results :

Finally, the awards ended with a Power Point Slide show with pictures from the semester's activities. Special thanks to Br. Art Lecuona for putting it together at the last minute. After the awards, everyone danced until it was time to go back to the house for the after-party. Congratulations to Br. Dan Nguyen for putting together another successful formal event. Everyone have a great break and let’s make next semester even better!
Glow in the Dark Party

On Saturday November 22nd, the chapter hosted its 4th Annual Glow in the Dark Party at EndUp on 5th St. As always, the party was a huge success and we were able to raise some money. If you missed out you can be sure that next year’s party will be even better! Thanks go out to brothers Dan Nguyen, Jason Kovacs, and Mario Castillo for their efforts to make the event a success, and very special thanks the Beta Iota Class for the hard work they did to publicize the party.
